Wow! A lot has happened since I last wrote. We have been so busy that I just keep putting it off.

In April for Taylor's birthday, we went to Baton Rouge for the Rock and Worship Tour with Jennifer and GraceAnn. Some of her favorites were there, Mercy Me and Jeremy Camp. She had a backstage pass to meet with Jeremy Camp. After the concert, we went backstage and were able to bring Jennifer and GraceAnn with us. We were the only ones back there so it made it really special. Jeremy is such an inspiration to all espeically the young kids. His testimony is so awesome.

Our summer seemed to fly by again this year. The week of July 4th, Taylor went to "Discovery Camp" in Texas with her youth group. (She has some awesome youth pastors). We shopped and got her all packed up and off she went. (This was her first time at a summer camp). She had a blast and is already planning on returning next July as well. I am see about getting off and going with them.

After her camp, things really got moving. The week of July 13th, she started her volleyball camp at school. She had one day off and then on the 18th we left for Destin, FL for a week! (not long enough!) We had a great time!

This year everyone was there! Our family has been going to Destin (Jetty East) for 29 years! Of course, throughout the years, someone was not able to go. Hopefully we will all be there again in July 2010 for the 30th!

One of the days we (Big Daddy, Taylor, Kami, Me, Lindsey, Dylan, Lauren, Barrett) took the wave runners out. (I think we had 4 of them) We lost Lauren and Barrett at the beginning. Once we found them, they said they had seen some dolphins. So of course, we all headed back to where they had been. And sure enough, there were about 10 of them! It was so awesome! We just kinda idled around and then just kept swimming around us. Of course after we had already swam with them in the Bahamas, we were wanting to jump right on in and swim with them! (but we didn't)

I am so glad we were all able to be together in Destin this summer! I can remember growing up and going there and then all the little ones started poppoing up (although they are not all that little anymore!) and we all started missing a year here or there.
